EDUCATION
Todd earned his Bachelor of Science degrees in both Accounting and Finance, followed by a Master of Science in Accounting, all from Saint Vincent College. He also holds several highly regarded professional credentials, including Enrolled Agent (EA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and he is a Certified Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Todd’s dynamic career began with an impressive tenure at Donnelly-Boland & Associates, where he steadily advanced from Staff Accountant to External Controller. During this time, he oversaw accounting functions for clients with revenues exceeding $500 million, conducted complex fraud investigations as a lead investigator, and supervised multiple accounting teams. He has a proven track record of turning complex challenges into success stories. A prime example of his impact involves a school district facing severe financial disorganization and cash flow shortages. Todd implemented a robust new accounting system and directed efforts to recover outstanding invoices, effectively turning their financial situation around and bringing critical funds back into the organization.

Following his time at Donnelly-Boland, Todd served as Controller for Outdoor Play, where he managed all accounting operations, optimized cash flow, and led finance meetings. Most recently, as Controller for My Financial Partner in New York, he actively challenged the status quo by implementing process improvements that significantly reduced month-end close cycle times. Alongside his corporate roles, Todd also spent eight years as a Faculty Program Advisor
at Independence University, teaching collegiate accounting and business courses to foster
critical thinking among his students.
MORE INFORMATION
Colleagues and clients value Todd’s problem-solving acumen, approachability, and dedication to clear communication. He approaches financial data with the mindset of a teacher, ensuring he never simply throws numbers at his clients. Instead, he relates the data in ways they can easily understand, breaking concepts down slowly and providing concrete examples so they can make informed decisions. While his professional background is heavily rooted in numbers, Todd is deeply passionate about the outdoors and animal rescue. Having recently moved back to his roots in the country, he now lives on a seven-acre farm where he runs a cat rescue. The rescued cats live a comfortable retired life on the farm, complete with a large barn outfitted with air conditioning and heat. Whether he is cleaning up a company’s books or caring for his rescue animals, Todd’s dedication to helping others thrive is always at the forefront.
