Amy earned her BS in Accounting from the University of Wyoming. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Colorado and a member of the Colorado Society of CPAs.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Amy’s career spans over 30 years in finance and accounting. While she has worked for Deloitte she has got her start in a four person firm (including her!) Her experience working with public companies was a great learning opportunity especially in the areas of company sales and acquisitions, she always has felt more at home with privately held businesses where she feels she can make the most impact. She has spent the last eight years working as a remote senior controller/advisor guiding small and mid-sized businesses.

Amy grew up in rural northern Wyoming and has spent the last 25+ years in Colorado. She enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle with her hobbies including hiking, skiing, and camping. However, a beach get-away is always welcome! She has two college-aged children, and family time is important when they can all get together. While she loves numbers at work, she humorously admits that cooking is “not her strong suit”, describing herself as a master “Pinterest fail”.
