PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
David’s expertise centers on providing actionable information to key stakeholders. His approach
involves taking the time to fully understand the landscape, reporting requirements, and
compliance issues before implementing solutions.
To help clients understand their financial data and make informed decisions, David relies on
concise and regular communication, delivering data in a digestible format. He tailors the
conversation by understanding the client’s specific drivers and KPIs (Key Performance
Indicators), ensuring he is giving them exactly what they need, rather than just “throwing
something over the fence”. This focus on client needs directly aligns with Level10 CFO®’s core
value that clients’ interests always come first.
Throughout his career, David has led successful large-scale projects, such as building
compensation models, analyzing complex vendor contracts, and leading deep dives into margin
erosion, resulting in significant cost savings and future growth for divisions. He has extensive
experience overhauling accounting policies and procedures, managing and mentoring teams,
and leading companies through their first financial and 401k audits.

MORE INFORMATION
Family is David’s core. He and his wife, a teacher, have a 14-month-old daughter and are
expecting a son who is due in March. He grew up with a tight-knit family mindset as a
second-generation immigrant whose grandparents were born in Italy. David’s professional
values strongly align with Level10 CFO®’s core principles. He is passionate about scaling
technology, but stresses the importance of implementing it the right way, using a sound and
methodical approach. This reflects the company’s commitment to embrace technology.
Professionally, David finds the mentality of “it’s always been done that way” abhorrent, instead
preferring to actively try to “kill your process” and improve it. This drive to challenge how things
are done aligns with Level10’s value to actively challenge the status quo. David also
emphasizes the importance of a customer service mindset when working with internal or
external parties, believing it leads to better outcomes and relationships. Furthermore, David
finds it crucial to have fun along the way to keep people engaged, especially during accounting
and finance work which involves “a lot of numbers”, which mirrors Level10’s commitment to not
being boring and to like to laugh (Even at ourselves). In his rare spare time, David is a huge
sports fan, enjoying playing basketball and poker with friends. He and his wife previously loved
to travel and plan to resume once their children are older.
