PROFILE
Camille views accounting as an eternal learning opportunity she enjoys for how it exercises her mind. As a Level10 Staff Accountant, she takes great pride in being painstaking and detail-oriented, knowing how a single misplaced decimal point can have a compounding effect. Camille has worked as a Staff Accountant or Accounting Clerk since 2020. Her industry experience includes health care, clinical/medical research, technology, and government.
Clients and colleagues alike appreciate Camille’s flexibility, excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, and willingness to take the initiative. She is highly organized, genuinely passionate about process improvement, and unashamed to declare her enthusiasm for accounts payable work. Camille prefers real questions to small talk; at university, her world opened by being immersed in a community that embraced and encouraged questions. Coming from a culture where asking questions is often frowned upon, the ability to ask questions and explore answers is one of her favorite things about working for Level10 CFO.

EDUCATION
Camille earned her BS in Accountancy from Silliman University and is working toward her MBA at a local state university. She is a Certified Financial Markets Professional (CFMP) and also holds TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and TEYL (Teaching English to Young Learners) Certifications.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Initially, Camille’s choice of an accounting career happened by default: Though she came from a family of engineers, teachers, and health care professionals, she simply couldn’t see herself in any of those roles. Her dad suggested accounting; fortunately, it proved an excellent fit, and Camille can’t imagine working in any other field. Her career kicked off with a contract-based role as an Accounting Clerk at a Philippines government agency, where her responsibilities included recording journal entries, employee salary and wage information, and tax data; reviewing, classifying, and filing tax returns; and assisting with monthly reporting by recording checks and other disbursements. Though Camille describes herself as “giddy” about the work, she chose not to renew the contract.She became a Staff Accountant at a regional hospital startup, serving as the Item Master Librarian responsible for establishing and maintaining an inventory of item master data and business partner master data. In this role,
Camille performed a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including financial statement updates, report preparation, bank statement reconciliation, and other responsibilities.
Unfortunately, the new hospital’s accounting team had suffered from continual staff turnover since its founding. Staff had not stayed long enough to fully effect process changes. Fortunately, the Hospital Administrator at the time empowered her team to come up with ideas to make accounting processes more efficient and effective. Camille stepped up by educating herself in multiple areas of the business, identifying shortfalls and gaps in inventory processes, and recommending guidelines for process improvement. She also helped the warehousing and purchasing teams understand the impact they could have on establishing the hospital’s item master data. After three years in the role, however, Camille sought new challenges that would enable her to expand her accounting knowledge. Eager to gain experience working with more diverse types of businesses, Camille joined Level10 CFO in 2023.

Camille is from Dumaguete City, whose residents fondly proclaim it “a city that feels like a town.” She feels at home in the low-key metropolis, home to four universities (including her alma mater, Silliman University), a tropical climate, and pristine beaches that attract people from across the Philippines and beyond. Camille loves to travel — a passion she inherited from her mom, who was often whisking the family away for weekend adventures and road trips. Camille is always interested in acquiring new skills (she’s learning to play badminton and pickleball). In her limited free time, she also enjoys reading and watching movies.
